Enjoying the sunshine

The sun hasn't stopped shining since Hayley arrived - she must have packed some Aussie sun in her bags I think! We've been making the most of it and been wandering around the city taking in the sights and rays.

This is Jules and Hayley down on False Creek. The park you can see over the river is where we had our picnic last week. Our apartment is just below where the crane is and the pile of buildings on the right is Vancouver General Hospital. A bit further round from this spot is some restaurant and beautiful apartments in Yaletown- its a bit like Southbank in Melbourne only more affluent!

This is the monument to Capt James Vancouver who discovered Van in the 1790's.

The view walking along the seawall towards Granville Island Market. If you keep walking down here you'll get to the 'picnic park'.
